my husband is green card holder in usa . he has lost our marriage file number now how can i know about my file number and check my status.i have been mariied since 2005 but still i don't know how much time is left for my processing

I have been married for two years to an american born citizen and I came to this country at the age of 7. I'am legally in the country with a work permit and havent filed for a resident card because I was told I was going to be forced to leave the country could you please tell me if this is true, and the procedure to be a permanat resident.

I have been told that all cities need to be written the English way for the lottery. The city I am referring to is Münster. Usually these names of the cities are changed in English, but in this case it seems to be the same. The "ü" is not a letter though in English. So how should I write the name of the city?
Thanks. Not sure if it's Munster or Muenster though. I see both.
